Mitel Purchases ShoreTel
In September of 2017, Mitel finalized their acquisition of ShoreTel. With this addition, Mitel accelerated their move-to-the-cloud strategy, and jumped to the number two position for UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) provider, globally. We received calls and emails from many of our customers who were initially concerned about their ability to go forward in the same evergreen philosophies that many of them had been on for over a decade. The good news then and still is that Mitel has continued to provide excellent support and a migration path for all the Enterprise Users who had invested in the ShoreTel platform over the years.
